Full Circle Moment: Giving Back to Squarespace

Over 15 years ago, I launched Primp In Home, a Mobile Salon, Spa and Wellness Company in New York City. Back then, building a website was a whole different experience! I met with a Website Designer who walked me through the proper layout and structure for my website before recommending a Website Builder. For the next six to eight months, we worked on bringing the Primp In Home website to life. And honestly, it took a lot longer than I ever imagined! Fast-forward to 2013. I needed more support for my growing business, and my friend Eve introduced me to Dana, aka Wonder Woman. Shortly after joining the team, Dana recommended creating a separate website dedicated to the events we offer. That is when we built the Primp Events website using a Squarespace template.

Dana showed me a website she had created, and I was blown away. It was stunning - crisp, clean, beautifully designed and incredibly easy to navigate. Within days, she had created a brand-new website for Primp Events! We spent the next few weeks fine-tuning the details, and Primp Events was off and running.

Since then, we have created and updated our websites several times as our business has grown and evolved. Squarespace has been part of that journey, helping us bring new ideas to life and showcase our services in fresh, exciting ways. Today when you land on our Primp Events homepage, you will see a live video of a few of our events and get a feel for all the love that goes into an event, and the joy the services bring to guests of an event.

And Then Came the Full Circle Moment!

In September 2026, I received an email from Squarespace Headquarters inviting me to provide Wellness Services at an event at their New York City headquarters.

I actually chuckled when I read it because, at that very moment, the Wonderful and Talented Alice was working on a brand new Squarespace website for an upcoming service we will be offering. My response? YES! YES! YES!

In October 2026, a wonderful group of Primp Events Wellness Service Providers gathered at Squarespace Headquarters to offer Chair massages and Scalp massage services. I had the opportunity to meet and speak with some truly interesting people - and, of course, share my Squarespace website with them! It was such a joy to be there, connect with others, and give back to a company that has helped my business tremendously over the years.

What started as a tool to help me build a website more than 15 years ago has become part of the story of my business, its growth, and its evolution. Being able to bring our wellness services into the very place that has supported so much of that journey felt incredibly special.

A heartfelt thank you to Squarespace for being part of the Primp In Home story.

Here is to building beautiful websites, growing businesses, creating meaningful connections, and finding those unexpected full-circle moments along the way. Squarespace, you rock! 💛
